This patch worked perfectly. I applied the WS-CopySite.patch file (should probably be named copyResources.patch)
One of these days I'll learn the right way to search that to find what I'm looking for.
As always, thank you for your help.

Hi Jon,
Is this the copySite web service? It doesn't copy any content. There is, however, a contributed patch which does do that though.
https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-14321
It hasn't made it in to a release yet though. Give it a go and if it works for you, ping me back and I'll put it on my todo list.
cheers,
Steve

I'm using copySite to copy a project site we have set up as a template for our Advising sites.
That template site has some generic resources and content in Site info that is not making it to the destination.
If we duplicate the site or import from site we can get that information - I but I'm trying to do it all via a script and was wondering if I was doing something wrong or if copySite simply creates an empty shell of a site.
Thanks,
-Jon
