Subject: [Building Sakai] Safari browser

Hi Dev list,

Sorry to stir up old discussions again, but I thought you might find this information interesting.

Our webmaster has given us an update of the browsers most frequently hitting our university home page (www.udel.edu<http://www.udel.edu>), and here are the stats:
BROWSERS BEING USED:

 * Safari has the largest share 34.63%
 * Internet Explorer is second 27.46%
 *   Firefox 23.69%
 *   Chrome 12.76%
 * Android Browser .75% and then all the rest are less then a %
So this is just a reminder that although Safari mostly works with Sakai, it is still not officially supported, except through the efforts of local QA teams. Are we the only school seeing such a shift?

Mathieu
