[Building Sakai] sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher

One of our systems just showed up running several threads named "image animator". Here's a backtrace of one:

sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.run(ImageFetcher.java:136)

Anyone ever seen this? It's only one of 4 front ends. I've killed the threads. I see no references to this in the Sakai code.
