[Building Sakai] Edia SCORM crashes Java 1.6

It should be trivial to convert the SCORM player to use a vanilla version of Wicket 1.3 - the Sakai Wicket library was a nice idea but not keeping it updated just introduces more hassle so best it is retired. Plus the build jar is not in a repository AFAIK.

Moving to Wicket 1.4 is not much more effort either, a few API changes but easy to find once you build/break then rinse/repeat or let Eclipse at it. I've done all of this if you need assistance.

cheers,
Steve

We ported the project to wicket 1.3.7, but have no resources / experience to do the 1.4 port. This means that, without the sakai-wicket project being updated, the SCORM player will not run on 2.7, just as any other project who makes use of sakai-wicket.

This has been reported at other sites, but I see no solution. Does anyone know of one? Since Java 1.5 is no longer supported, having software that won't run under 1.6 is a problem.
