I've built and run nakamura on Windows XP myself in the last couple of
days. And have colleagues who have been developing and testing on
Windows. There have at times been minor glitches mostly in tests (where
you tend to have scripts more directly involved with the OS) but I agree
there don't seem to be any windows specific problems at the moment.

I have some months ago pushed large numbers of users, groups and
memberships into a windows sakai 3 instance for integration testing

I can't think of any likely issues or warnings for Michael's questioner
apart from the suggestion that it should work ok ;) But I have to admit
I've never had a windows instance running more than a few hours at a time.
