[Building Sakai] mailtool.upload.directory, mailtool.upload.directory /tmp defaults.

Folks,
Both mailtool.upload.directory, mailtool.upload.directory default to /tmp,
and I see this description is the samigo docs.

# Temp directory for handling email attachment files.
samigo.email.prefixedPath=/tmp/

So is it safe to periodically delete the contents of whatever
directory it's set to?
