[Building Sakai] Questions about building Sakai

Hi,

 

I just updated my sakai_2-6-x revision to 84740 from 79300. And I'm
having problems when deploy it.  It seems that every time when I upgrade
sakai, I have to manually update pom.xml in some projects to provide
version number for some dependent libraries, like sakai-kernel, spring,
etc. This time, I'm able to make it build, but when I deploy the new
sakai, I got lots of errors, such as NoSuchMethod, Bean can't be
created, etc.  Is there anything I'm doing wrong here? Is there any way
to make the upgrade easier? Is there any documentation staing all the
library versions online? I'm using sakai-kernel 1.0.13, mvn 2.0.8,
jdk1.5 and tomcat 5.5.23.  Any help will be appreciated.
