[Building Sakai] The Mercury site

Do you mean the /portal/site/mercury site? If so, -1 to removing it. It is invaluable for quickly testing something, especially on the nightly servers.
However I would +1 renaming it to something like 'sampler' so that we always have a default site ootb.
