[Building Sakai] 2.7 Install

Thanks Steve. Yes, I can see and use Sakai now.
I have been trying to modify $CATALINA_HOME/sakai/sakai.properties but Sakai
does not seem to read the file and modify the settings:
opportunity:/opt/tomcat/sakai# ls -l $CATALINA_HOME/sakai

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 23931 Mar 24 05:57 sakai.properties
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 16 Mar 23 21:21 sakai.rutgers.linktool.privkey
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 64 Mar 23 21:21 sakai.rutgers.linktool.salt
Is there something which must be done to force Sakai to re-read the config
file?
