[Building Sakai] Does Sakai use their own specific repository?

Thanks Amyas for your reply .It really encouraged me.

I'am still trying to make the project idea clear and try to get in to the
correct path for the development.

I think JQuerry will be a pretty handy solution for sakai mashup environment
for those drag and drops and all that.But JQuery can be legally used under
 MIT license or GNU General Public License.

Does Sakai has license to use them?
