[Building Sakai] Forums tool and .anon

We have the .anon issues in Forums fixed in our branch, certainly for anon viewing. I hope all those fixes have made it into trunk, but am not completely sure on that.

Has anyone looks at allowing .anon into the forums tool at the moment
it seems that both the forums tool and the synoptic forums tool seem
to blow up with stack traces when accessed by a user who isn't logged
into Sakai?

On a related note does anyone know why the Forums tool has it's own
authorisation code, rather than using the standard Sakai one?
