[Building Sakai] Samigo - student response editor and diacriticals

One of our language instructors wrote to us and said that since the students do not get to use the FCK Editor when responding to Samigo questions, they cannot enter their answers using diacritical marks.  In language courses, this is a function that would  be really helpful to have.

Is there any way to enable the FCK Editor for student responses in Samigo?

Is there any plan to make this the default?
