[Building Sakai] Autojoin tool

Hi everybody.

We are very interested in the autojoin tool which is being used (I 
suppose) at Michigan 
(https://source.sakaiproject.org/svn/msub/umich.edu/ctools/autojoin/trunk/) 
and Cambridge 
(https://source.caret.cam.ac.uk/camtools/trunk/camtools/autojoin/).

Please, could you tell me if this tool could be used in a 2.5.3 version? 
Is being used in any production environment? Also, which version of the 
two availables should I deploy? Is there any documentation about 
installation anywhere?
