[Building Sakai] sak-800 Upload, download and extract Zip archive files in Sakai Resources

we use it and it's great ..... as far as it goes.

Unzipping seems to work fine but there are issues with zipping up a resources area.

I am not sure of the value and status of sak-800 Upload, download and extract Zip archive files in Sakai Resources Tool. I have set the Jira defensively to the maintenance team with a fix date of 2.7 Can anyone give knowledgably feedback.
