[Building Sakai] Quick Question on View Site as if in Different Role - SAK7924

Tufts is testing Sakai 2.6.1 and would like to evaluate the Student View 
functionality. We installed from source and followed the 
docs/instructions outlined in confluence
http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/REL/Student+View

Namely, we've checked to make sure studentview.roles is defined in Sakai 
properties config and enabled the site.roleswap function for users in 
given roles. But, we're not seeing the drop-down option in the UI. Are 
we missing something or are there gotchas not documented in confluence 
or jira http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-7924?
