[Building Sakai] Opening pdf file from Resources showing blank page

You may be seeing behaviour related to:

http://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/KNL-215

which affects PDFs handled by the Adobe Reader plugin in some browser/OS combinations (we saw it on Firefox/WinXP).

Try updating your build to use the latest 1.1.x kernel release (kernel-1.1.9) to see if that resolves it.

We are seeing issues with opening pdf files from Resources in user's 
browser. All they see is a blank screen.

It works just fine when a users download the file and open in Acrobat 
Reader.

Is there something in Tomcat or JAVA_OPTS settings that we need to tweak?

We are on Tomcat 5.5.29, Java 1.6.0_20 and Sakai 2.7.x.
