Hello all!

Yesterday, I sent an email asking for help with our problem with response time (see the email below). Because we want to be in production next week.... we've decided to go back to our first architecture where the resources are kept in a file system separate for the Oracle DB (Oracle 10G). As written in the doc, we've commented out convertToFile in sakai.properties . Any new files gets created in the file system but all resources already in the DB are not accessible anymore and are also not converted to the file system.... We are running Sakai 2.6

Any help would be very welcome.

Previous email.....

We're about to start our 1st pilot at University of Montreal and we face a serious problem with response time.

On Monday, we've moved all resources from the file system to the Oracle DB for internal reasons.

Since that, we've run into response time problem. Particularly painful, is Tests & Quiz (up to 30 sec when copying question pools). We're also impacted when we open any non empty folder.

Do you know of any specific setup we've missed? Why is Test & Quiz particularly impacted by this move? Any suggestion to help us because we are wondering if we have 1 or more problems?
