[Building Sakai] iCal feeds only viewable in MONTH view?

Is there any documentation about the format of the feeds that Sakai is expecting?

This feature was added in SAK-12852. There are cache settings, and it looks like the default is 2 hours.

# 4. Subscription cache settings (optional)
# Institutional subscription defaults: reload every 120min
# User subscriptions defaults: max 32 subscriptions in memory, reload every 120min
calendar.external.subscriptions.institutional.cachetime=120
