[Building Sakai] Tests and Quizzes Copy Shared Pool

I am using 2.6.0 and MySQL.
 
I can't reproduce the issue in http://qa2-us.sakaiproject.org:9090/portal <http://qa2-us.sakaiproject.org:9090/portal>  so I think I'll try checking out Tests and Quizzes from trunk.

Can you please let me know which version you are running? Can you reproduce your issue in this 2.6.1 instance:

After copying the pool from into another pool a subpool is created, but no questions are copied over. The subpool is mysteriously created with no name or way of editing it. Hopefully, the attached screenshot will explain better than I am.

Hi Jon,

If you copy PA to PB, you should see a subpool PA under PB. The questions should still under PA, not directly below to PB. And this is the expected behavior. If you want to have PA's question to be in PB, you can go into PA, select all the questions, and copy them to PB. This is straightforward too. Let me know if this is not what you are asking.

I did this:

 

User A creates pool PA

User A shares pool PA with user B

User B creates pool PB

User B selects copy under PA in the top Question Pools screen

User B checks their own pool PB to copy to and selects Copy button

Pool PB now just has a extra subpool in pool PB, which doesn't appear on the list of subpool so cannot be deleted

 

However, I can copy questions from pool PA into pool PB individually.

 

I'd be grateful if you could try and get back to me.

I can copy pools successfully owned by other users. Maybe I miss something? Can you please show me how to reproduce this step by step?
