[Building Sakai] course add drop question for assignments

Hi,
     I need a little clarification on the work flow of assignments tool.
     When a user drops a course all the  assignment submissions mad by 
that use become unavailable(in that course).
     What happens when some of those assignments are group assignments 
and the person who dropped the course was the one
     who submitted the assignment on behalf of the group ?
    Do other group members who did not drop the course lose that 
submission as well ?
