[Building Sakai] Showing recently added resources on home page

I'm trying to show recently uploaded resources on the home page for course
site is there a tool for this, or some easy way to show only the last folder
created using the resources tool added to the home page?? can someone point
me in a good direction i feel like this is probly easy to do.
