[Building Sakai] deleting of motd from the gateway page

good morning sir,

In my previous query you suggested me to do the editing of motd with the
help of tool appear in the admin workspace but if i want to delete motd from
the gateway and other home pages then how i do?

I also want to know the necessary files of css required for the skinning of
sakai and how to use them.
