[Building Sakai] Finding a remote resource

We have had a report of a broken link in Sakai. I'm wondering if there is a way to search the Sakai db to find out where this url was encountered (the url is external to Sakai, e.g. http://www.google.com), I want to find out where it's embedded...

I can't ask the person who submitted the report as it appears to have been and automatically generated report and there are no identifiers.
