Hi Haris,

UMICH have a performance workgroup that does this sort of thing all the time and prefer to user Grinder. At Amsterdam we use Jmeter. I believe when you svn the Sakai source code there are some example Jmeter scripts under the reference directory or look on confluence such as (http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/QA/JMeter) I can also provide an example script. However, not today as I am out the office.

Bye,

Subject: [Building Sakai] Load Testing on Sakai Server!

Guys,
I have sakai installed on CentOS. I am trying to test the load on the server
by simulating activities on the server and also increasing the number od
simultaneous users(simulating). Has anyone done a similar thing before. If
so can someone tell me how to go about it.

Thanks in advance
Harish
