[Building Sakai] Questions about new synoptic tool for Messages & Forums

Thanks, Bryan, but there's still the question of the institution which
doesn't deploy Messages at all - there are quite a few of those.
Reading between the lines, it sounds like such schools would have a
big 'Messages' column with 'Nones' running all the way down, which
could be confusing for users which have no recognition of a 'Messages'
tool at all. Is there a good way to handle this?
