[Building Sakai] Site stats tool timeout

Hi All,

We run sakai front ended with apache with a timeout period of 5 minutes. The problem we're having is the site stats tool in one of the sakai sites takes longer then 5 minutes to process and returns an error when the timeout period expires.

Has anyone encountered this problem or has a solution? We prefer not to increase the timeout but maybe the site stats tool can send a packet/message periodically while its still processing.
