[Building Sakai] Sakai /portal in another location

Hi,

Sakai code shouldn't be hard-coding "portal" as the portal URL as
there's a method to get the portal URL.

However, it may still be the case that there are some hard-coded
assumptions. I'd suggest setting up a new instance, changing the
sakai.properties value, and then seeing what breaks, and filing JIRAs
for it.

An alternate approach would be to do URL rewriting on your front-end
(e.g. apache).

Cheers
Stephen

Hi subscribers!

I want to know if sakai can run in another URL, different that
/portal.

I think making this change can generate lots of problems...anyone
experienced with this??

Our client doesn't want to redirect to /portal each petition to the
server, he wants / or another location like /campus or
/learningplatform

Regards.
