now that rings a bell!

Site visits can be effectlely recorded if the site home page is a file in resources (as opposed to a description), then one can see how many times that page has been read.

Thanks nuno.

Hi Adam,

Unfortunately, there's no surprise. Sakai doesn't log visits from anonymous users and so SiteStats (v1 and v2) is not able to track them... However, resource reads (content.read) events from anonymous users are logged by Sakai.

You can check this looking at your SAKAI_EVENT table.

Hope it helps,
Nuno

should I be surprised that when using site stats v1 .anon visits are not counted?
