[Building Sakai] IMS SOA Whitepaper

Hi everyone,

IMS is nearing the completion of a whitepaper focused on service oriented
architecture (SOA).   The paper is titled "Adoption of Service-oriented
Architecture for Enterprise Systems in Education: Best Practice
Recommendations".  Since Sakai is member of IMS, members of our community
can provide early input on the paper, before the paper is released to the
public for comments.  I thought some folks on this forum might be
interested since one of the example scenarios is about SOA for SIS/LMS
integration.

If you are interested in reading this paper and providing feedback, please
contact me at:  davia at us.ibm.com and I'll send you an early copy.  You can
send any comments to me as well.

Please handle the document with discretion, it is not yet released to the
public so we should limit it's distribution to interested members of the
Sakai community and other IMS members.
