[Building Sakai] Sakai JSP scripts

I have developed my tool in JSP using SakaiAppBuilder.
Also added new functionality, which is working fine, but now i want to get
rid of scripting used in JSP
Please can anyone help me.
I tried to use struts MVC to render requests, insted of this jsp scripts,but
it fails. Is anyone tried this ? pls help............
