[Building Sakai] WebDav and external authentication

Hi!

We are using Shibboleth to login into Sakai. We also want to use WebDAV
to access both MyWorkspace and the sites. Since we use external
authentication in Shibboleth, we don't have local passwords stored for
our users. I guess we're not the only one using external authentication
(CAS etc) - how have you implemented the WebDAV integration in Sakai?

We are planning on using a new table for the WebDAV passwords and let
the user generate the passwords inside Sakai. How does that sounds? Is
there any general work done on this area?
