[sakai-core-team] Updating Help

Can I just barge in here? I think something needs to be put in place for this.

It’s no good (for the maintainers of the help pages) if we’re busy updating trunk and if we have screenshots and potentially new wording but don’t have an option for either updating he help or passing on the information to somebody that can update the pages.

We’re going to be making changes over the next few months and we want to help Wilma (or whoever) as much as possible..

Not sure I understand. Are there screen shots?

Are you talking about System help? If so, we are managing this through http://sakai.screenstepslive.com . Changes should come through the Sakai documentation team so that they get updated on the web first, and then on refresh of Sakai help. If not, any changes Nick does now would get overwritten by the next refresh, I would think.

In a pull request Nick updated the Help and Images as the text in the interface has been updated and wouldn't match any more.

What the best practice for things like this, is it better to just change the interface and someone will do a bulk update of the help, or should ideally pull requests also be updating the help as they go?
