[Deploying Sakai] Deleted users in Site Info

Hi,

Since upgrading from 2.8.2 to 2.9.1 we have noticed that the Site Info tool occasionally displays (what looks like) deleted users in the participant list. Please see https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-23438. I am wondering if anyone else has seen this and/or knows of any patch or configuration setting that I can try to resolve it. Our Sakai instance is pretty much OOTB 2.9.1 release with some skin and text customizations.
