Hi all,

Susana, ojdbc5.jar is for Java 5, and ojdbc6.jar is for Java 6. It 
sounds like you still have issues with your properties for connecting to 
the database, but you probably want to use the Oracle JDBC driver jar 
appropriate for your version of Java, too.

We're not on 2.8 yet (2.6/2.7 hybrid now), but 11g Release 2 has gone 
very well for us, for over a year now in production.
