[Deploying Sakai] Problems with statistics tool

Hi all,

We at the University Of Skövde in Sweden use sakai 2.7.X and 2.1.11 of the statistics tool.
I have a problem with the statistics tool. Every time a user clicks on it the second item named "Activity" it just hangs and displays the loading wheel. If he then go to another tool or another course it works (its not a complete hang) but the statistics tool always behaves in the same way and never get past the loading wheel for the second activity.

These are my master pom versions:

<sakai.hibernate.groupId>org.hibernate</sakai.hibernate.groupId>
<sakai.hibernate.artifactId>hibernate</sakai.hibernate.artifactId>
<sakai.hibernate.version>3.2.7.ga</sakai.hibernate.version>


According to one of them the hibernate issue is supposed to be fixed in a trunk version 3.3.1 of hibernate. Does anyone know how to get rid of this problem? Maybe howto upgrade hibernate, if that is the solution?
Here is a small sample of one of the logs, although the last lines continues a looong way down.:
