[Deploying Sakai] Moving from Sun(Oracle) JDK to OpenJDK?

With the recent withdrawal of the special license that enabled Debian
to package the Sun(Oracle) JDK there won't be any future
upgrades/bugfixes to the Debian packages so we are looking to move to
OpenJDK. Is anyone currently running in production with OpenJDK or
looking to move?
