[Deploying Sakai] MySQL 5 and query cache

Hi all,

In https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-9250 Stephen Marquard 
comments that Sakai can be used with MySQL 5 query caching from 
mysql-connector-java-5.1.5-bin.jar on. 
https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/DOC/Sakai+Admin+Guide+-+Database+Configuration+and+Tuning 
states you cannot use the provided query caching settings with MySQL 5.

Do you have query caching experience with MySQL 5 that you could share 
with detailed settings?
