[Deploying Sakai] Authentication is required (sending outgoing email when adding a user to a site)

FYI:
I'm am using Sakai 2.6.2 . My smtp server did not require authentication
initially and I was able to use outgoing mail. Now, my smtp server does
require authentication and I am still able to use outgoing mail with no
changes.

If you are using Sakai Sakai 2.6.0, I'd recommend using 2.6.2. It will solve
a number of issues.
