Subject: Update and Next Call > Wednesday, July 24 2 - 3 PM Eastern
Time

Colleagues,

The Teaching and Learning Group had another very productive call last week
which focused in on how we might go about applying the Sakai Learning
Design Lenses to the Lesson Builder. Janice Smith took meeting notes that
are available from our conference call wiki page at:
https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/PED/Sakai+Teaching+and+Learning+Conference+Calls
.

Based on our discussion, the group decided that to move forward we needed
to collectively gain a better understanding of the Lesson Builder tool's
capabilities and design. Several folks with extensive knowledge of Lesson
Builder offered to provide a demo and so this week (Wednesday from 2 - 3
PM Eastern Time) Marilyn Dispensa from Ithaca College will be providing a
demo and walk through of Lesson Builder during our call. Below are links
to an Adobe Connect site she has provided for the session as well dial-in
information to connect to the phone portion of the session. After the
demo we will again discuss a process for this review process with the
general idea that we'll look more deeply at the Learning Design Lenses the
following week.

If you have no experience with Lesson Builder you should take a few
minutes to familiarize yourself with it before the call as with the
limited time we'll not be covering the basics of the tool. Here are some
links you can use to learn more about the tool:

If you have questions please let me know. If you are unable to make the
call and wish to post thoughts online please do so.

Josh
