I should also mention to do it only for the matrix in question!  So make sure to throw in a where clause with the appropriate scaffolding id!

It can be changed in the DB if it's something that you definitely need to have changed.

In the OSP_SCAFFOLDING table, set the WORKFLOWOPTION column to your desired value based on these:

   publicstatic finalint NO_PROGRESSION = 0;

   public static finalint HORIZONTAL_PROGRESSION = 1;

   public staticfinal intVERTICAL_PROGRESSION = 2;

   public staticfinal intOPEN_PROGRESSION = 3;

   public staticfinal intMANUAL_PROGRESSION = 4;

The progression definitely becomes fixed and unchangeable at some point.  It's either when the matrix gets published or after some data is added to it.  Can't recall which.

Hi All,

We are using the cell progression within a matrix for the first time and have run into an issue.  We actually would like to turn the cell progression *off* (currently it is set to vertical); however, since the matrix has been published, it is not letting us change the cell progression.

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the cell progression once a matrix has been published?

Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.  Please feel free to email me (teggin at vt.edu<mailto:teggin at vt.edu>) and also to copy Dave McPherson (dmcphers at vt.edu<mailto:dmcphers at vt.edu>), since Dave is more likely to understand any technical details :)
