Yes.  That's what I was looking for.  I don't know how exactly it's done in the OSP environment, but it seems to me it could be added as an option in other editing environments (syllabus, for example) as well.

Not that I know of. I assume that you mean that you'd like terms or
words defined in the glossary to be hyperlinked to their meanings in
all the tools in Sakai (not just the portfolio tools).
