[Portfolio] Sharing portfolios with the .anon role in a "public" Sakai site

Sorry for not tracking portfolio more carefully, but I thought I would just check a concept with you in the context of Sakai 3. I am thinking that a major concept in Sakai 3 will concern information about people as well as groups, and that some of that information will be public: staff profiles for academics and portfolios (or similar) for students. Thus there would be an extensive set of public pages for Sakai, talking about people, courses and even research projects with friendly browsing and searching.

If you are thinking about sharing 'public portfolios', I'd be interested to know if you can imagine them as part of the broader landscape outlined above or if you see a need to keep them in a special place?
