[Portfolio] question about default names for saved participant and item-specific feedback forms

I think it was Michigan that made that change.  I completely agree that participants should be forced to enter a meaningful name for forms in the evidence area of the cell.   In the case of reflection, feedback, and evaluation forms, I think it would be great if we could hide the name field altogether in the form creation view, and let them be named automatically when saved.

Lynn,

I was just in a workshop today where I had to explain why the default value for that form name is not a good choice, especially the way we use forms from matrices in portfolio templating.  It would certainly help if the default name were shortened enough to even read it in the Form Name box.

I'd vote +1 from VT.

As a side/related note, was that IUPUI or somewhere else that had customized that field so that it was by default blank and the user had to enter a name to proceed?
