Ok, stupid question since you can't remove comments.

I can reproduce the constraint violation and the warning which
effectively keeps the assignment from being associated with the
gb...by using this process:


first: tail --follow catalina.out

- in assignment tool create an assignment and associate it with GB
(not a existing item), give some points, instructions
- in gb2, add some comments on the item for a student
- in assignment tool, edit the assignment and remove the GB
association... (this is where I expected to see fireworks)
- in gb2 right clock and rollover edit comment on item
- in gb2 delete the item
- in assignment tool

Would you create a jira for this?
