Thanks for your assistance on this Thomas.
Scott F. - can you look at the details provided and see if you can figure out what we need to do to get import working?
Thanks,
chris

Chris,
The UC Davis specific JIRAs are:
https://jira.ucdavis.edu/jira/browse/SAK-1800
https://jira.ucdavis.edu/jira/browse/SAK-1986
I need to talk to Jon about this some more but it looks like that this is a gradebook bug. The gradebook should check what IDs are used.
Best,

Chris,
The studentId change is done via the tool registration file, where we set the
<configuration name="displayid.value" value="student" />

This was discussed a while back here:

I will try to find more specific information regarding the UserDirectoryProvider changes.

Thomas,
In our instance of Sakai, we're using Gradebook 2 and it's been working pretty well so far.
We recently ran into an issue where the EXPORT of a csv template will spit out rows with the student's LOGIN ID as the ID column. When we try to import, it is expecting the numeric student ID.
By "EXPORT of a csv template" do you mean a CSV file that the gradebook2 export process generated, or another process such as clicker, scantron, etc?
Is there a configuration file / setting that we need to adjust to get these 2 items in sync?
Thanks,
Chris
