Hi,

We are looking for some clarification regarding the checkbox with the text-  "Instructors can view responses to questions about other instructors." In the eval settings ui page.

At UCSC we don't allow instructors to view results. So, in the admin settings page we have "Instructors allowed to view results" set to "No". However, now that we've upgraded to 1.4 when our staff go in to create course evaluations even though it says instructors are not allowed to view results in the eval settings ui page-- to the right of that text is a checkbox that is on by default that allows the instructor to view the results of other instructors.

I believe that this checkbox shows up in error. According to the Jira it's supposed to be affiliated with results viewing set to configurable. We have results viewing set to NO.

Can we hide this checkbox and text? If we can't hide the text...

What is the expected behavior?  Will the notification go to the primary instructor?

Our users issuing the evals aren't instructors. They have "department" accounts. Will a notification go to them? To the issuer and the primary instructor?

We really appreciate any help the group can provide to help us understand what this checkbox means and how we might be able to mitigate it's presence.
