[Contrib: Evaluation System] Can users view reports for evals they have taken?

Unless you have a buggy version of evals what is supposed to happen when you say "respondents allowed to view results"

1/ they get an email saying "results now available at <URL>"
2/ an entry appears in the dashboard linking to the results

There was a caching issue whereby if you visit the results page before the results are made available, you will erroneously see the results not available page when you go back next time. We have fixed this: http://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/EVALSYS-980

Subject: [Contrib: Evaluation System] Can users view reports for evals they have taken?

Hi all,

I've been investigating whether users are able to access reports of evaluations they have taken, but without success.

Among the admin settings, there's a "Students allowed to view results" dropdown menu that provides the same choices as the "Instructors allowed to view results" menu--yes, no, configurable. But when I specify that students may view results (either via admin settings or selecting when creating an eval), there's no report link for a student who has taken the eval. As a student, I also cannot access via URL link to the report page.

In confluence (https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/EVALSYS/System+Settings), there's an entry for "Respondents allowed to view results" admin setting (I'm assuming "respondents" has been changed to "students"). But the entry says "not sure" and there's a note that no report links seem to be displayed.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide further info, and/or has had experience with this functionality!

Best,
Jim Mezzanotte
