     Please find below my reply for your clarification :

          About 400 courses (Primarily for Student Feedback).

          In sakai database

         You are right. Evaluation dashboard (for the student) which lists all courses (for which the student has to respond - about 10 survey on an 
average) has slow response time. Specific course evaluation/survey loads quickly (~ 2 secs)

    Our server's hardware configuration is good ( Dual Processor / RAM 4 GB).
