[cle-release-team] Was 2.8.3 the last release for 2.8?

I was just asking to know if I should close i18n and L10n issues where 
the only remaining potential action is a merge into 2.8.x.

As far as I can guess, we lack volunteers available for working on 
releasing another 2.8.

I don't know about the expressed need for one.
