[cle-release-team] Kernel terracotta module?

Hello,

I thought the Terracotta stuff was dead based on these problems:

(previously discussed in a TCC thread)

Perhaps Chris Holdorph or Dan McCallum can shed some light on this, so
I have cc'd them.
